Real Madrid are set to extend the contracts of three important Brazilian talents in their squad. Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and Eder Militao in the coming weeks. They have reached an agreement with each of the three players, and it is only a matter of time before their renewals have been officially announced by the board.
Rodrygo and Eder Militao have both agreed renewals until 2028, while Vinicius Jr has agreed a new deal until 2026 with an increased salary. The winger was vital to Real Madrid’s Champions League win, and scored the match-winning goal against Liverpool in the final as well.
Real Madrid to extend contracts of Brazilian trio imminently
Rodrygo has been influential on several occasions as well, particularly in the Champions League. He scored the late winner against Chelsea and Manchester City to help his team into the final, and is now set to be rewarded with a new contract from the board.
Eder Militao has had a remarkable season as well, emerging as a leader in defense and helping the team to a double. The Brazilian has had to step up following the departure of Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane both, and has done so incredibly well.
Real Madrid have only signed Aurelien Tchouameni this summer, and are unlikely to announce any major new signings. They are listening to offers for Marco Asensio and have agreed to sell Luka Jovic to Fiorentina with a 50% sell-on clause.
