Real Madrid have signed former La Masia academy player Iker Bravo on a loan deal for the 22/23 season. The player has been registered to the Real Madrid B Team, Castilla.
“Spain U19 international Iker Bravo is joining Champions League winners and Super Cup winners Real Madrid from Bayer 04 Leverkusen with immediate effect,” read a Leverkusen statement. “The Bundesliga club have agreed a 12-month loan with the Madrid club.”

After failing to agree a new deal with Barcelona, the player joined the Bundesliga side last season. And only a year later, he is back in Spain.
The striker debuted for the German side last season at the age of 16, and is a very highly rated youngster. It will be interesting to see how he can develop for the coming season, and whether he can break into the first team. With Karim Benzema leading the line as the clear first choice, Bravo could be the rotational option that the side needs for the lengthy season ahead.
Los Blancos have let go of Luka Jovic, with the striker joining Fiorentina. While Bravo will mostly feature for the U23s, the option to buy could be activated if he shows enough promise to the board. And over the course of the season, he might also be given chances in the first team.
