Real Madrid have renewed the contracts of their three young Brazilians. Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and Eder Militao have all signed new deals on the back of their La Liga and Champions League winning season.
Vinicius Jr’s deal has been confirmed beforehand, with the winger signing a new contract until 2027. Owing to his massive improvement this past season, he has been given an increased salary that matches his contributions.

Eder Militao has also penned a new deal until June 2028, while Rodrygo has signed on for the same duration. Despite not making it to the starting line-up for a lot of the season, Rodrygo scored some very important goals in Real Madrid’s Champions League campaign which helped them win the tournament.
The La Liga tendency to include unmatchable release clauses in contracts has continued. Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo have release clauses worth €1 billion while Militao’s is worth €500 million.
The new deals convey the vision of the board in terms of the importance of these players. All three are seen as vital parts of the future, and have been given long-term deals as a result.
Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out any new signings for the summer after the arrivals of Aurelien Tchouameni and Antonio Rudiger. There could still be the possibility of some players leaving the club like Dani Ceballos and Marco Asensio. But in the case of the latter, there are also chances of the club renewing his current deal.
