Real Madrid is ready to sell six players to raise the fund for a sensational transfer bid for in-demand young strikers Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe.
Real Madrid has been pretty quiet in the last transfer window. Eden Hazard is the only big signing they made in 2019. But if they want Haaland and Mbappe in the same window, Madrid would need to cut down their squad, staff and wages massively.
According to the report by Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid has already identified 6 players for sale next summer. The first two names on the list are the club’s two highest earners- Eden Hazard and Gareth Bale. Eden Hazard has completely failed to deliver at Spain after his blockbuster move from Chelsea in 2019. Real Madrid wants to get rid of him.
On the other hand, Gareth Bale is in Tottenham Hotspurs on loan. But Real Madrid is not ready to keep him for more. They are searching for a buyer for the Welshman.
However, the other 4 players are Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, Isco and Marcelo. Sergio Ramos’ contract is going to expire this summer, and he does not want to sign a new one. Paris Saint Germain, Manchester United and some other big clubs are interested in him. At the same time, Marcelo hinted at a reunion with his friend Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus.
