Real Madrid almost had no incomings in this transfer window except Odegaard, who returned from his loan spell with Real Sociedad. But there have been numerous outgoings in the Spanish capital.

Hakimi, Reguilon, Bale, James, Kubo, Reinier and Oscar Rodriguez are among the departures from the Spanish capital.

Benzema is in good form but there is no backup striker. After the season restarted in June due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Benzema played all of the 11 matches at a stretch. So you can clearly see that Madrid lacks a good backup striker.

But in this summer transfer window of 2020, Real Madrid hasn’t signed any players yet. It’s quite a strange thing to hear.

According to a report by Mundo Deportivo, the transfer of Diego Llorente from Real Sociedad to Leeds United for €20m means that Real Madrid would earn €4m. Madrid sold Llorente in 2017 for €6m along with a clause of 30% of the capital gain of a future sale.

Real Madrid have now earned €110m in this summer transfer window without spending a penny.
