Rafa Marin is set to join Napoli in a deal worth €10 million from Real Madrid, adding to the Spanish side’s cash flow for the coming season. Marin spent this past season on loan at Deportivo Alaves, and had an impressive spell with them.
Now, he is set to make the step up to one of the top clubs in Europe with a move to Napoli, with Madrid unable to accomodate him in spite of Nacho’s departure. However, they are aware of the 22-year-old’s potential and have included a buyback clause in his contract.

While Marin is set to join Napoli permanently, Alex Jimenez will make the move to AC Milan for a fee worth €5 million. The 19-year-old spent this past season on loan with the Rossoneri, making 24 appearances across the senior and youth levels, amounting to just under 1,500 minutes on the pitch.
Madrid have also negotiated a buyback clause for Jimenez, which means the right-back could return to Los Blancos in the future to potentially replace Dani Carvajal, if he can impress for Milan in the coming seasons.
With Marin going out, the Champions League winners are expected to try and sign Leny Yoro to reinforce their centre-back position with more names.
