Real Madrid and Barcelona often play El Clasico wearing their home kits, regardless of the stadium that the game is taking place in. But things will be different this Sunday when the two teams face off against each other in the second El Clasico of the season.
The game between the two icons will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu. To commemorate their 120th anniversary of first wearing a black kit, and their 20th anniversary of their collaboration with Yohji Yamamoto and Adidas, Real Madrid will be wearing their black kit for the game.
Real Madrid and Barcelona to wear alternate kits for Clasico
Barcelona will be wearing their Senyera kit, paying homage to their Catalan heritage. They have done so for several occasions throughout the season, and will wear it against their biggest rivals on Sunday as well.
The two La Liga giants will be meeting for the last time this season on Sunday. Real Madrid are currently at the top of the La Liga table, while Barcelona are in remarkable form themselves. Under Xavi, they have been able to find themselves again and are playing some great football.
The game will not greatly affect the title race, though, since Los Blancos are 15 points clear of Barcelona, albeit with a game extra. Sevilla are in second place, ten points behind the table toppers, and with only ten games to play, it seems like the title will be going to Real Madrid for a 35th time.
