PSG and RB Leipzig shared a point each in Germany, with the scoreline reading 2-2 at the end of the 90. Leipzig earned their first point in the Champions League this season, thanks to the draw. PSG, on the other hand, are second in the table after Manchester City, who have 9 points from their four games.

Christopher Nkunku continued his terrific goalscoring form and netted against his former team to open the scoring. The midfielder met a great cross from Andre Silva at the near post and glanced it brilliantly into the far corner to beat Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Leipzig had the opportunity to double their lead shortly after, owing to a penalty. Danilo brought down Andre Silva in the box, and was booked for it, to concede the penalty. However, Donnarumma managed to deny the Portuguese forward by diving the right way.

Only ten minutes after, Gini Wijnaldum scored his first goal for PSG by tapping in a ball from Kylian Mbappe. Before half time, the Dutch midfielder scored his second goal, assisted by Marquinhos from a deep corner. The Brazilian headed the ball to his teammate, who buried the ball into the back of the net.

Leipzig had another penalty late in the game, after VAR intervened. And this time, Dominik Szoboszlai made no mistake from the spot to equalise for the home team. Both teams will be disappointed with the points shared since they had several chances to win the game. However, they will have to be content with the one point shared.
