Some casts are big. This one is a full city block. Brad Bird’s *Ray Gunn* is packed with Marvel names, comedy legends and Pixar regulars, all voicing the alien-filled world of Metropia. The film lands on Netflix on December 18, 2026, so here’s your who’s who.

### Ray Gunn: The Scene-Stealers

The supporting bench is just as deep:

- **Bobby Cannavale:** *Boardwalk Empire*, *Ant-Man*
- **Michelle Rodriguez:** *Fast & Furious*, *Avatar*
- **Patton Oswalt:** voicing a hologram, and Remy in *Ratatouille*
- **John Ratzenberger:** the Pixar good-luck charm
- **Michael Chernus:** *Severance*
- **Aasif Mandvi**, **Matt Jones**, **Kathryn Hunter** and **Kether Donohue**

Two curiosities round out the list. Tony-winning choreographer Justin Peck is credited, and it’s unclear whether he’s voicing a role or shaping a dance sequence. Bird also reportedly cast his son’s former soccer coach, known only as “Buck,” as an underground weapons dealer.

### What It’s About?

The story follows a discreet private investigator pulled into a sprawling case involving aliens, murder and a pop superstar, all wrapped in a 1939-meets-the-future look from Skydance Animation. It’s PG-rated and runs just under two hours.
