After three decades in development hell, Brad Bird’s retro-noir masterpiece *Ray Gunn* finally hits Netflix on December 18, 2026. This hand-animated 3D spectacle blends *Maltese Falcon* grit with *Buck Rogers* flair. Starring Sam Rockwell and Scarlett Johansson, this Metropia-set mystery is a pure keyframe triumph. Forget motion capture; this is classic cinematic artistry reimagined for the future of digital streaming.
