Ravindra Jadeja is one of India’s best all-rounders of the modern era. The 35-year-old made history once again by taking his 300th test wicket in the test against Bangladesh at Kanpur.
He is now the seventh test cricketer to achieve this feat. However, what’s even more impressive is that Jadeja is the fastest Indian to score 3,000 runs and take 300 test wickets together, putting him in a category of his own.

The spinner dismissed Khaled Ahmed in his 10th over of the first innings to achieve the historic feat. He is the second fastest to achieve the feat, but is only two tests late.
Sir Ian Botham was the fastest to achieve 3,000 runs and 300 wickets as he did so in only 72 tests. On the other hand, Jadeja did so in his 74th, narrowly missing out on the legend’s record. The list of players to have also achieved this feat includes legends such as Kapil Dev, Shane Warne, Stuart Broad, Daniel Vettori and Shaun Pollock.
Jadeja is the fourth-fastest Indian bowler to reach the 300-wicket mark. And it remains to be seen if he can mark the occasion with yet another test win.
