Manchester United have agreed a deal worth €70 million including add-ons for Rasmus Hojlund with Atalanta. The Premier League club have now acquired their primary target in the striker position, and are hopeful of announcing it in the coming days.
The Dane will become the first-choice striker under Erik Ten Hag, and becomes the latest to join United after Mason Mount and Andre Onana. The player has agreed a contract with United until 2028 with the option to extend for one more season until 2029.

PSG were also interested in signing the youngster, and made an initial inquiry. But, the player preferred a move to Old Trafford which has now been finalised.
Medical tests for Rasmus Hojlund will be scheduled soon, and the deal will be formalised once he has passed them. This past season, the forward scored nine goals and provided two assists across all competitions. But, the potential he has shown, alongside his impressive physical stature has made him one to watch for the top clubs.
After signing Hojlund, Manchester United will turn their attention to a deal for Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina. There are several clubs interested in signing the midfielder, and now that United have completed their striker transfer, another player from Serie A could be joining them very soon.
