Barcelona is looking at Leeds United star Raphinha as a transfer target for the summer. The Brazilian is arguably the best attacker that the Yorkshire outfit has in their line-up, and he has started to attract interest from a number of big clubs.Â
However, the final decision about his future has not been made just yet. Liverpool and Chelsea have been strongly linked with the winger, but have not submitted a formal bid for him as of yet.
Raphinha on Barcelona’s radar for the summer
Raphinha’s agent, Deco, is Barcelona’s scout for South America. As a result, he has been contacted about his client by the Spanish club. However, the final decision rests with Leeds United and whether or not they are able to stay up in the Premier League this season.
The player’s buyout clause will be dropped to a region around €15 million if Leeds United is relegated this season. But, staying up will allow them to charge a much higher amount for their man.Â
In 27 Premier League games this season, the winger has been able to provide nine goals and three assists. All the clubs currently interested in him have a number of options at their disposal. And it is likely that Raphinha would want to have a starting place in the team.
Hence, ample game time would be one of the key demands for Raphinha to move away from Leeds, where he is one of the automatic starters.
