**Sam Bahadur**
Ranveer was the first choice for the Field Marshal biopic but declined due to date clashes and creative priorities. **Vicky Kaushal** stepped in, delivering a nuanced, restrained performance that earned widespread acclaim and awards, proving the role needed a different flavor.

**Animal**
Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s raw script was offered to Ranveer, who opted out, possibly due to the intense dark tone. **Ranbir Kapoor** embraced the chaos, turning the film into a career-defining blockbuster that shattered records and sparked nationwide debates.

**Love War**
This high-profile romantic action project didn’t align with Ranveer’s vision at the time. He passed to focus on other commitments, leaving the project in development limbo. The decision highlights his focus on scripts that offer unique challenges rather than conventional setups.

**War**
YRF’s gravity-defying action spectacle had Ranveer in early talks. He eventually stepped aside, paving the way for **Hrithik Roshan** and **Tiger Shroff** to headline. The duo’s chemistry and stunts made *War* one of Bollywood’s highest-grossing films ever.

**Brahmastra**
The role of Shiva in this fantasy epic was floated to Ranveer. He declined, and **Ranbir Kapoor** took the mantle. The film became a visual extravaganza, launching a new cinematic universe and showcasing Ranbir’s dedication to the fantastical genre.

**Pathaan**
Rumors suggest Ranveer was considered for a key role in the spy universe before **Shah Rukh Khan** reclaimed his throne. *Pathaan* marked SRK’s thunderous comeback, and Ranveer’s pass allowed the King to dominate the box office once again.

Ranveer’s choices reflect an actor who trusts his instincts. By skipping these projects, he made room for diverse roles and now sets his sights on **Dhurandhar**, where he aims to unleash a new level of domination.
