Ralf Rangnick confirms Anthony Martial wants to leave Man Utd

Ralf Rangnick has confirmed that Anthony Martial wants to leave Manchester United. The Frenchman has found it difficult to find a place in the starting lineup ahead of the other options and is seeking a move away from Old Trafford.

Martial’s agent had stated that his client wanted to move away and that he wanted to talk to the club about the same. And now, we have confirmation from the manager that this is indeed the case.

Rangnick also said that there are currently no offers for the forward. If this continues to be the case by the end of the transfer window, then he will end up staying at Manchester United.

Where can Anthony Martial go next?

Sevilla are among the clubs interested in signing Martial in the winter transfer window. However, his high wage demands can prove to be an issue for the Spanish side.

Barcelona were also rumoured to be interested, but their signing of Ferran Torres rules out a move for Martial. Newcastle United could also try to agree on a loan deal for the French striker, according to the Daily Mail

How has Martial’s time at Manchester United been?

When he was signed from Monaco in 2015, Anthony Martial was the most expensive teenager in the world. He has spent seven years at Old Trafford and believes that now is the time for a new challenge.

He has been in and out of the first team over the years and is now at the end of his time with the Red Devils.
