There’s something deeply refreshing about a man who has faced ridicule his entire career — and still walks into every room like he owns it. In an exclusive interview, **Rajpal Yadav** opened up about his height, the “comedian” tag Bollywood stuck on him, and why none of it ever broke his spirit. And honestly? It’s a masterclass in self-belief.

## “Maa Ki Dua” — The Secret Behind His Unshakeable Confidence

Rajpal didn’t dodge the height question. He said he has been 5 feet 2 inches since childhood — and that’s exactly what people see. But rather than treating it as a weakness, he turned to his mother’s blessing as his true measure of worth, expressing that no height in the world can touch the confidence that her prayers gave him.

That’s not just a feel-good quote — it’s the kind of [resilience](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_resilience) that psychologists say comes from having a strong, unconditional support system early in life.

## Rajpal Yadav’s Painful Truth Behind “The Funny Guy”

Rajpal also made a sharp observation that many comedians quietly live with. He explained how when a warm, friendly person walks into a room, people take them lightly — even push them down. But when someone arrives with an attitude and a serious face, they’re instantly respected. The comedian gets laughter; the serious one gets reverence.

Yet Rajpal said he never felt inferior because of it. He described both being called a comedian and being called a good person as blessings he accepts gracefully — like receiving prasad.

| What People See | What Rajpal Feels |
| --- | --- |
| Short stature | His mother’s sky-high blessing |
| “Just a comedian” | A title he wears with pride |
| No industry Godfather | His own craft as his anchor |
| Casual treatment | Contentment, never resentment |
