Rajasthan United finally get a permanent home ground in Jaipur for 24-25 season

Rajasthan United are set to play their I-League matches in their home state from the 24-25 season. The club recently announced that their stadium in Jaipur has been completed, with the installation of seating chairs in the stands and a dressing room as well.

The club will play its games at the Vidyadhar Nagar Stadium in Jaipur, which has a maximum capacity of 3,000. They have been roaming all across the country, having played their games in Hyderabad, New Delhi and Punjab in the past. But now, they have a permanent address.

Rajasthan United to play their I-League games at home for the first time

Formerly known as JECRC CF, the rebrand to Rajasthan United saw the club make it to the I-League in 2021. This past summer, they were the subject of significant interest as Shrachi Group took over the club to further its development.

With the stadium now set to host the Desert Warriors, fans from the state can finally attend their games and support them. On the other hand, it will also help football generate a strong presence in the west and accelerate its growth.

Following the takeover, it remains to be seen if the club can make it to the ISL, with competition for the top spot incredibly high.

Which clubs are favourites to win I-League?

Inter Kashi, Sreenidi Deccan and Rajasthan United
