History rewritten! Riteish Deshmukh’s *Raja Shivaji* has officially become the highest-grossing Marathi film ever, crushing the Rs 110 crore barrier. Despite a cooling box office, this epic production proves that pan-India audiences are craving regional powerhouses. While it faces stiff competition from historical giants, this massive achievement marks a definitive, high-octane resurgence for the future of Marathi cinema in 2026.
