Ever wonder what happens after the TV cameras stop rolling and life throws you a curveball? **Rahul Roy**, the original Bigg Boss winner and Aashiqui heartthrob, is answering that question with grit rather than glamour. Videos of him dancing at weddings recently went viral — and instead of hiding from the trolls, he’s owning his hustle completely.

## Why Rahul Roy Is Dancing at Weddings

After suffering a [brain stroke](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stroke) in 2020 while shooting in Kargil, Rahul spent years recovering with little acting work coming his way. Facing mounting expenses, including a long-pending Rs 30 lakh matter and financial fallout from his divorce, he turned to wedding performances to stay afloat — earning between Rs 2 to 4 lakh per event. He didn’t mince words about critics, saying this work is genuinely hard and simply how he earns his living.
