## What Went Wrong?

Despite featuring the popular comedy duo of Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma, known for their chemistry in films like *[Fukrey](https://technosports.co.in/bollywood-comedy-films)*, Rahu Ketu couldn’t replicate their previous success. The film’s mythological premise failed to connect with modern audiences, resulting in lukewarm word-of-mouth that prevented any significant growth over the weekend.

The sharp Monday drop signals trouble ahead. With [Border 2](https://technosports.co.in/upcoming-bollywood-releases) releasing this week, Rahu Ketu will lose most of its screens and is projected to conclude its theatrical run under ₹10 crore—a disastrous result for the makers.

## Competition at the Box Office

Released alongside *Happy Patel: Khatarnaak Jasoos* and *One Two Cha Cha*, Rahu Ketu managed to outperform both films in collections.
