BREAKING: Rafael Crivellaro leaves Chennaiyin FC and signs for Jamshedpur FC

Brazilian midfielder Rafael Crivellaro signed for Chennaiyin in 2019 and has played 27 matches in ISL scoring 8 goals till now. Crivellaro joined Chennaiyin as their foreign player on 3rd September 2019. He was an integral part of the team and was appointed as captain of Chennaiyin FC in November 2020 ahead of the ISL 2021-22 season.

Unfortunately, he was later ruled out for the rest of the ISL 2021-22 season due to an ankle injury. Chennaiyin FC further extended their deal for multiple years and announced the contract extension on 16th July 2021.

However, the duo has now parted ways. As per Indian sports journalist Marcus Mergulhao, “Chennaiyin FC and Rafael Crivellaro have parted ways but the Brazilian midfielder will continue in ISL, possibly making this season’s debut this month itself.”

BREAKING: Rafael Crivellaro leaves Chennaiyin FC and signs for Jamshedpur FC

If you go to Chennaiyin FC’s official website and check their squad list, there is no mention of Rafael Crivellaro in their team. So it is confirmed that Rafael Crivellaro has left Chennaiyin FC.

According to various reports, the Brazilian has now joined Jamshedpur FC and will continue to play in ISL. However, it is not officially confirmed yet but in all probability, it would be announced very soon. He is expected to make his debut for his new team this month only.
