Qualcomm promises “best in class performance vs x86 systems” with its new Snapdragon X Elite processor, which is built on the 4nm production process. This chipset, intended for personal computing devices like laptops and 2-in-1s, promises a “massive leap forward” with a “best-in-class CPU,” AI interface, and one of the most efficient PC CPUs.

The Qualcomm Oryon 3.8GHz CPU with 12 high-performance cores and Dual-core turbo (4.3GHz) powers the [Snapdragon X Elite](https://www.qualcomm.com/news/releases/2023/10/qualcomm-unleashes-snapdragon-x-elite--the-ai-super-charged-plat). In comparison to an x86 processor from Intel or AMD (Qualcomm does not specify), this chip provides up to 2X higher CPU performance. The Qualcomm Adreno GPU with 4.6 Teraflops is reported to be 2X quicker and supports triple UHD monitors.
