“The negotiations are officially over, it will soon be announced,” he wrote on twitter

It’s no secret now that PSG are the clear favourites in signing Messi right after it was announced on Thursday evening that the Argentine could not be registered to LaLiga. So, since Thursday, PSG are keeping a close eye on signing him at the club to play alongside Neymar and Mbappe.

Now, an interesting report from Mundo Deportivo states that Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the brother of Qatar’s emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Zani, has posted on his official Twitter account that there is already an agreement between PSG and Leo Messi.

“The negotiations are officially concluded. And it will be announced later,” he wrote in a profile with nearly 100,000 followers. So, if that sort of post is made, contracts and agreements have already been discussed by PSG and Messi, so it seems most likely Messi will play for PSG currently.

Not only this, PSG’s journalistic environment who are familiar with the Qatari family that runs the club have even welcomed the message, accompanied by a montage of a photograph of Messi in the PSG shirt. So, PSG are ready to bring Messi and ready with their finances to let him play with the likes of Di Maria, Neymar, Mbappe, Ramos and others.

According to RAC1, the journalist of L’Equipe, José Barroso, already gave figures: “There is talk of a salary of 40 million euros net per year, with a proposal of 2 to 3 years. From the club, they think it would be possible to accommodate the three, Messi, Neymar and Mbappé. It’s a unique possibility and the club wants to make the effort.”

He also added that “there is nothing signed yet, but never before has Messi been so close. There is almost a verbal agreement and now there is a meeting to finalize it, we believe that the meeting will be on Sunday.”
