With the draw, the Gaurs are now fourth in the table, with only one win from their last five games. On the other hand, Punjab FC’s recent rise means they are now in contention for the top six places, and are currently seventh in the table, level on points with sixth-placed Jamshedpur FC but only behind on goal difference.
Goa have, however, qualified for the playoffs of the tournament and will participate in the end of the season tournament.
