Celebrating Champions with the “See the Game Like We Do” Campaign

PUMA India has launched a spectacular outdoor campaign titled “See the Game Like We Do” to celebrate the extraordinary achievements of Indian athletes. The campaign highlights double Olympic medalist PV Sindhu’s powerful smash, Olympic bronze medalist and hockey goalkeeper PR Sreejesh’s lightning-fast reflexes, and Asian Games medalist Kishore Jena’s incredible javelin throw.

  • PV Sindhu’s Smash: With a speed of 349 kmph, Sindhu’s smash is three times faster than Mumbai’s iconic Central Line train. This achievement is visualized across the coaches of the local train, capturing the attention of commuters.
  • Kishore Jena’s Javelin Throw: Jena’s best throw at 87.54 meters, equivalent to the height of a skyscraper, is commemorated by his towering image on a similarly sized structure in Prabhadevi, Mumbai.
  • PR Sreejesh’s Reflexes: Sreejesh’s ability to stop the fastest balls with a reaction time of 0.15 seconds is illustrated on a digital billboard on the Eastern Express Highway, serving Mumbai and Thane.

By drawing parallels between these record-breaking achievements and everyday experiences, PUMA aims to inspire national pride and motivate the country to support the Indian Olympic athletes as they head to Paris to achieve Olympic glory.

PUMA’s Commitment to Sports and Excellence

Shreya Sachdev, Associate Director & Head of Marketing at PUMA India, stated: “PUMA is proud to empower Indian athletes and celebrate their achievements. This campaign honors the hard work and dedication of our champion players as we stand united in support of them on the world stage. Together, let’s celebrate their journey to success.”

Javelin champ and PUMA ambassador Kishore Jena added, “Support from fans plays a critical role for athletes in big tournaments. It’s heartening to see a global brand like PUMA uniting the nation with this amazing campaign. High-quality footwear and sports accessories will help us produce our best show in Paris.”

Sport shooter Sift Kaur Samra, who is Paris-qualified, emphasized the importance of world-class products: “Sports demand both physical and mental strength. Having world-class products gives confidence and positively influences performances. PUMA has been trusted by champion athletes worldwide, and I’m thrilled that they’re supporting Indian athletes’ Paris 2024 dream.”

PUMA’s Stellar Sports Associations

PUMA has established associations with various sports teams, including global and Indian football clubs like Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, Mumbai City FC, and Bengaluru FC. The brand also partners with IPL teams such as Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Delhi Capitals. PUMA’s distinguished ambassadors include cricket icon Virat Kohli, sprinting champion Usain Bolt, football star Neymar Jr, boxing champ MC Mary Kom, and cricketers Harmanpreet Kaur and Mohammed Shami.
