Injury news

For Real Madrid, Karim Benzema might miss out on the game as he is still recovering from a hamstring injury. The Frenchman could feature, but is prioritising his long-term fitness. Ferland Mendy is also set to miss the clash due to injury.

Neymar is back in training for PSG, but the game comes too early for the Brazilian to start. Sergio Ramos will not be featuring against his former club either. He joins Ander Herrera on the injury list for the Ligue 1 club.

Formations

Both teams are expected to stick to their preferred 4-3-3 formation tonight. Gareth Bale or Marco Asensio could start in place of Karim Benzema. But, Luka Jovic remains an option too.

Angel Di Maria could start on the left in place of Neymar for Mauricio Pochettino, while the majority of his squad remains the same.

Talking points from PSG vs Real Madrid

Sergio Ramos misses out on the chance to face off against his former teammates, but Keylor Navas and Achraf Hakimi will be in the squad. Whether or not he will start the game ahead of Donnarumma is doubtful.

Kylian Mbappe might be facing off against his future club, with the Frenchman fit and in the squad to face Los Blancos. And similarly, Lionel Messi will be up against his former El Clasico rivals in Real Madrid.

PSG vs Real Madrid has all the ingredients to be the biggest match of the Round of 16, and all that remains is for the players to deliver on the pitch.
