Manchester City are set to field offers for Julian Alvarez this summer, with the Argentine attracting interest from several foreign clubs. Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid have registered their interest in the player, alongside several other Premier League clubs.
The Argentine rotates with Erling Haaland in the number 9 position, and is often played behind the Norwegian due to his versatility. However, he remains a natural centre-forward and will naturally want to play more minutes.

With Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland injured in spells throughout the season, Alvarez had a lot of playing time in 23/24, making 36 Premier League appearances. And he was quite productive during his time on the pitch, scoring eleven goals and providing nine assists.
The 24-year-old has been with the Sky Blues since 2022, and is now valued at €90 million. With four years left on his contract, negotiating a transfer will be very expensive, and City will easily be able to dictate the terms.
Having signed an extension just last summer, it seems unlikely that Julian Alvarez would force a transfer this summer. Now, it remains to be seen whether City will entertain any offers for their young star.
