For some time we have heard rumours about the most anticipated gaming console by Sony, PS5 Pro. However, now these rumours are taking a confirmed stand as a prominent video games industry insider has spoken.
Also recently there was a PS5 Pro leak which leaked the specs and features of the upcoming update gaming console. Here, in this section, we will discuss whatever we know about the gaming console.
This piece of news has come from the Giant Bomb reporter Jeff Grubb. In his recent podcast, Jeff Grubb’s Game Mess, he was talking about the Naughty Dog’s decision to cancel The Last Of Us Factions multiplayer game.
While he was discussing this, he also talked about the PS5 Pro. Although he didn’t confirm exactly, but he did confirm that there is an updated gaming console. He even dropped a release window for the gaming console.
He believes that it will be released sometime around September 2024. Also, while speaking about the recent leaks, he mentioned that Sony will be utilising its hardware solution.
This will bring “DLSS-like” upscaling technology to the PS5 Pro, which is in trend now. Because of this single update, the gaming console will improve images and run things at a very high resolution and frame rate.
So, as it is expected, Sony is indeed working on an improved version of its PlayStation series with a focus on improved visuals and frame rate. However, till now, we don’t know how much things will improve.
He further claimed that the PS5 Pro had a price range of around $600 at the time of its launch. But even now, there are many more points of information that we don’t yet have.
