The triple- headers will be there only on Saturdays throughout the whole league. On those particular days, the match will start at 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm respectively.

On the opening day, the match will be against Mumba vs Bangalore Bulls. the second match will be against Tamil Thalaivas against Telegu Titans. The third match of the opening day will be between UP Yoddha and the defending champions Bengal Warriors.

The second part of the schedule will be by mid-January. It is also expected that scheduling the game for a second part will help the teams assess their strengths, build strategies and work on their weakness.

Anupam Goswami, PKL’s commissioner declared “The PKL is known for reinvigorating and popularizing India’s own sport of kabaddi. The new format will continue to reinvent the sport. Releasing the schedule in two halves will help teams strategize better and keep the fans engaged. The triple headers and “Triple Panga” will provide more fans more opportunities”

  1. Kabaddi in India is recognised as a traditional and one of the most popular sports. Kabaddi is played quite extensively all over the country. The game has passed a long way since its inception in India, during the pre-historic period. The Indian people love to play the game very much, as it does not need many kinds of equipments to play. Another reason is that, the game helps one to be physically fit and also teaches about how to defend and attack at the same time.
