We are a month away from the official launch of the Nothing Phone (1), this will be the first smartphone from the Carl Pei-owned brand. Ahead of the launch, we are witnessing the rumor mill move in full swing but the brand has somehow managed to keep the hype for the device up without revealing much of the specifications of the smartphone. Recently, the brand has revealed the charging speed and display specifications of the phone.
Nothing Phone (1) pre-booking details:
Tipster Mukul Sharma recently revealed some details of the pre-booking of the new phone and how you can secure your phone. The tipster has shared a Flipkart product page with a pre-booking coupon.
The description reads that “This Coupon Code is your pass for the pre-booking for Nothing Phone (1).” It goes on to state that buyers will be able to order the device for a nominal price of Rs.2,000 which will be adjusted when you check out.
You cannot use this coupon code yet, its validity is set till the 18th of July so we can expect the page to go live before that particular date. The company has confirmed that its smartphone will be unveiled on the 12th of July.
In terms of specs, we do not have anything concrete as of yet, it will feature a transparent back, support for fast charging, wired and wireless, and ultra-slim bezels. It is likely to be powered by Snapdragon’s 7 Gen1 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
It will have a 6.55″ HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and the phone will be juiced by a 4,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. We hope to see more specifications surface as we inch closer to the launch.
