According to [recent industry reports](https://www.pinkvilla.com/entertainment/south/not-independence-day-prabhas-fauzi-with-hanu-raghavapudi-to-release-on-dussehra-2026-heres-what-we-know-1400305), Prabhas is prioritizing the completion of Fauzi’s shoot to ensure quality over rushed timelines. The Dussehra festival weekend offers a lucrative 4-5 day theatrical window, perfect for a big-budget period drama.

The film chronicles the story of an **Azad Hind Force soldier** in an alternative fictional take on historical events. With such ambitious storytelling, the team needs adequate post-production time to deliver a visual spectacle.
