Not every K-drama sticks the landing. *Positively Yours* did. The Oh Yeon Seo and Choi Jin Hyuk romance, which began with an accidental positive pregnancy test and an equally accidental fake-girlfriend moment, wrapped up in a finale that managed to be funny, emotional, and genuinely satisfying all at once. Here’s exactly why it worked so well.

## 1. Team Leader Bang Sun Hui Finally Gets Her Growth Moment

The team leader is introduced early on as the type of woman Jang Hui Won does not fully trust, likely because of judgment and prejudice. By the finale, she publicly defends Hui Won in front of their colleagues, acknowledging her professional excellence regardless of her personal life. That full-circle moment lands beautifully.

## 2. Jang Hui Won’s Mother Gives Her Blessing

Lee Seon Jeong spent most of the drama being the coldest version of a mother imaginable — blaming Hui Won for the failed marriage, ridiculing her for her pregnancy. In the finale, she realizes her mistakes and officially gives her blessing to the couple, marking an important moment of reconciliation and growth.

## 3. The Villain’s Redemption Is Jaw-Dropping

Han Jeong Eum is genuinely the drama’s villain — not just an obstacle but someone who goes all the way. In a moment of desperation, she tries to run over Kang Du Jun with her car, only for her own daughter to step in front of the vehicle. That instant becomes her wake-up call — the moment she realizes she has been consumed by revenge. The fact that Kang Du Jun ends up saving her daughter makes the redemption feel earned rather than forced.

## 4. Cha Min Uk and Hwang Mi Ran Get Their Deserved Ending

In the webtoon, Cha Min Uk and Hwang Mi Ran are already dating from chapter one. The drama takes a different approach — his heart gradually opens to Hwang Mi Ran, who has always been a steady, supportive presence shielding him through difficult times. Watching that slow shift feel natural was one of the finale’s most quietly satisfying moments.

## 5. Baby Before Wedding — A Bold, Refreshing Choice

Rather than ending with a wedding or an implied future, the finale shows the couple’s baby before they tie the knot, beginning their happy life together — a defiance of the usual drama formula that fits the show’s spirit perfectly from episode one.
