Newcastle United are already starting to draw up a transfer list to bolster their squad. And Porto striker Luis Diaz is around the top of the list, since the Colombian has been in remarkable form since the start of the season.

He has scored six goals in eight matches in the Primeria Liga, and has helped guide his team to a title challenge with arch rivals Benfica currently at the top of the table. He recently scored in the Champions League for the first time, and was the only goalscorer in the 1-0 win against AC Milan.

Diaz joined Porto from Colombian club Junior FC in 2019, and has spent two years with them so far. This season, his total goal tally is seven goals from eleven games across all competitions.

Mohammed Bin Salman, the new owner of Newcastle United is ready to invest into the team and challenge for the Premier League title once again. The Magpies are now the richest football club in the world, with their owners being valued at around €350 billion. As part of the new sporting plans, Newcastle are ready to splash the cash in order to make massive changes to the team.
