Love cost Pooja Bhatt a cinema icon. At 18, she ditched the lead role in the blockbuster *Aashiqui* to satisfy a boyfriend’s ultimatum to quit acting. Her father, Mahesh Bhatt, was reportedly furious, calling her decision madness. While the romance eventually fizzled, Anu Agarwal rose to stardom instead. A classic tale of youthful passion overriding a legendary career opportunity.
