Charlie’s origin has briefly teased as the video starts, seemingly unveiling the landing in trouble with some shady individuals after utilizing her lie detection. It needs to move in order to avoid the thugs after her, she feels like she is on the road, traveling from stop to stop with everything out of her car.

As any good mystery novel protagonist though, Charlie seems to invoke death in her. In several scenes whether in a cabin, hotel, or raceway, she finds herself involves in many different murder cases from car malfunctions to shootings and stabbings. After using her ability to dig out who among the suspects is lying. It seems the connecting theme between episodes seems to be Charlie’s attempts to evade the wolves on her heels.

Lyonne will encounter tons of stars on her journey, including Megan Suri, Colton Ryan, Brandon Michael Hall, Adrien Brody, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ron Perlman, Stephanie Hsu, Nick Nolte, Tim Blake Nelson, Benjamin Bratt, Hong Chau, Lil Rel Howery, Jameela Jamil, Chloë Sevigny, David Castañeda, and Danielle Macdonald among others.
