## What Is Happening on Community Day?

Community Day is Pokémon GO’s monthly celebration where one featured Pokémon appears far more often in the wild for a limited window. ## The Exclusive Move: Sucker Punch Zoroark

The reason many Trainers take this event seriously is the featured attack. If you evolve Zorua during the event, or up to four hours afterwards, you’ll get a Zoroark that knows the Fast Attack Sucker Punch. That four-hour grace period is helpful, because it means you can spend your three hours catching and then evolve afterwards at your own pace. A sensible plan is to catch as many Zorua as you can, collect enough Candy and evolve a few of your best before the window closes.

## Event Bonuses That Make It Worth Playing

The bonuses are generous, and they’re the real engine of a big Community Day.

Catching Pokémon earns 3× XP and 2× Candy, which is excellent for levelling up and powering up your team. Trainers at level 31 and above also get a 2× chance to receive Candy XL from catches, handy if you’re building toward higher-level evolutions. Incense activated during the event lasts three hours (excluding Daily Adventure Incense), and Lure Modules last one hour and may attract Zorua. You can also take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise.

Some bonuses last longer than the main event. The Lure Module duration, the extra Special Trade and the Stardust discount are all active from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time. That means you can make one additional Special Trade, for a maximum of two for the day, and trades need 50% less Stardust. If you’ve been saving trades for the right moment, the evening is a good time to do it.

## Community Day Special Research

For INR 59, or the equivalent in your local currency, you can unlock the Zorua Community Day Special Research. Completing it earns extra rewards, including three encounters with Zorua that have a Special Background, additional Zorua encounters, one Premium Battle Pass and one Rare Candy XL, along with other goodies.

Tickets will go live later, so keep an eye on the game. You can also purchase and gift tickets to friends you’ve reached Great Friends level or higher with. To gift one, tap the Special Research ticket in the in-game shop, then tap Gift instead of Buy. Gifting can’t be completed if the recipient already has a ticket or has been gifted one. Tickets are nonrefundable, subject to applicable law and the Terms of Service, and this research won’t include an in-game medal or a story.

Examples include Bengaluru’s Cubbon Park, Mumbai’s Shivaji Park, Delhi’s Lodhi Garden, Kolkata’s Salt Lake Stadium, Chennai’s Nexus Mall, Hyderabad’s Shilparamam Art and Craft Village, Pune’s Sarasbaug, Ahmedabad’s Uttam Nagar Garden, Lucknow’s Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Park and Patna’s Gandhi Maidan.
