Nisiki Technologies launched two new scooters in India, the Poise NX-120 and Grace electric scooters. Both of them come with swappable batteries and a range of up to 140KM. These models come in five color options totally and it has been priced at 1,24,000 INR or $1,619 and 1,04,000 INR or $1,358 respectively. These are ex-showroom prices and they will change as and when other components come in.
The swappable battery setup for both the Poise NX-120 and Grace e-scooters offers an extended range for the two EVs. The battery for both models can be charged with 220V mains electricity in an indoor environment.
Nisiki technology claims that it is also in the process of developing the Zuink e-scooter which is capable of delivering speeds of up to 90 km/h. The new pair of e-scooters cannot go beyond 55 km/h.
The features available in the Pose NX-120 and Grace e-scooters include Bluetooth connectivity, USB charging ports, tubeless tires, a rear-breaking system, and plenty of legroom for the rider as well as passenger.
The new electric scooters are made in the Bangalore facility of the company which has a capacity of producing 30,000 electric vehicles in 2022. It will be scaled all the way up to nearly 100,000 EVs by 2023.
As per Vital Bellador, the MD of Nisiki Technologies, the goal of the company is to strike a balance between technology, breakthrough, cost accessibility, and sustainability. This falls in line with the cleaner India initiative that has witnessed a historic rise in the demand for EVs across all segments.
The Poise NX-120 and Grace-e scooters will enjoy battery swapping support across the nation, as the company is partnering with swapping stations and P2P charging partners to provide charging points and facilities across the nation.
