Poco X3 is confirmed with 64 MP camera and ultra-fast charging within 65 min

After a great success of Poco X2 in the global market, now Poco has officially confirmed the launch of the successor of Poco X2, which is Poco X3. The Poco X2 was launched on February 4. Recently, there are some leaked specifications of the Poco X3 that have shaken the online tipsters and some of them are official now. Expected renders and specifications of the phone have surfaced, along with a probable launch date.

The Poco X3 is expected to be launched on September 8. That means, in a couple of days we will get to see this successor of the Poco X2. Now it is officially confirmed that it will sport a quad-camera setup at the back and a punch-hole display upfront.

One tipster spotted this Poco X3 leak online and now that has been deleted. The leak suggests that the Poco X3 may launch on September 8. The renders hint at a hole-punch display upfront. There is a slight chin that can be noticed at the bottom of the display. From the leaked images, it is expected that this phone will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and it may come in Blue and Black gradient finishes.

Poco’s Product Marketing Manager and Global Spokesperson is doling out details for the Poco X3. Regarding the camera setup, the Poco X3 will have a rear quad camera set up inside a semi-curved rectangular shaped camera module. The primary camera will be true of 64-megapixel. The manager shared the first camera sample from this phone. Unfortunately, the phone should be taking 16 MP photos with pixel binning. It can also feature a 12-megapixel ultrawide angle sensor, with the macro and depth sensor. In the case of the front camera, there will be a 20-megapixel selfie shooter sensor. We can also catch a glimpse of the camera UI. It is quite similar to the F2 Pro, but not identical.

Regarding some other expected specifications of the Poco X3, this will have a huge 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with a 240Hz touch display. This phone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732 SoC. Coming to the battery, Poco is confident that Poco X3’s battery can be charged fully in 65 minutes which is teased by Poco very recently. The chart below compares it with the Samsung Galaxy A71, which has a 4,500 mAh battery with the included 25 W charger and it takes 80 minutes to charge fully. The battery is expected to be of 5,160mAH with 33W fast charging. It is not sure whether the Poco X3 can charge it fully with a 33W fast charger within 65 minutes.

As Poco X3 is expected to be the successor of the Poco X2, there may be some really good processor and battery up-gradation we can see in the Poco X3. But the Poco X2 had a dual-camera setup in the front which we probably not going to see in the Poco X3. The Poco X3 is expected to have a single camera setup as a selfie shooter. There is also no information about the pricing of that device, but it can have a higher price range in comparison to the Poco X2. We will get more official details about this phone in the run-up to the launch.
