POCO Pad Debuts Globally with 12.1-Inch Display, Soon to Hit Indian Markets: Explore Price and Features

The smartphone brand has also launched its first venture into tablets — the POCO Pad in multiple global markets along with the launch of POCO F6 series devices. Meanwhile, the company has confirmed it for India along with some more products sometime later. Underneath the hood, you get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor on the POCO Pad. Camera features in the front as well as on the rear end include an 8 MP camera with built-in flash support. Lastly, it is powered by a massive battery: 10000mAh.

The POCO Pad is priced starting at $300 (approximately ₹25,000) during the initial launch sale for its lone 8GB RAM + 256GB built-in storage variant. After the promotional period, the tablet will be sold for $330 or around ₹27,457. Also, the users will be able to buy the Keyboard for $80 (approximately ₹6,656), the Pen for $60 (around ₹4,992), and the cover case at a cost of 20$ (about ₹1,664).

The company also confirmed that the POCO Pad, new TWS earbuds, and a power bank were just around the corner during its POCO F6 smartphone launch event in India While the actual release date is still a mystery, it’s likely that these products will be released in the coming weeks. As for design, the POCO Pad appears to have borrowed some insight from the Redmi Pad Pro as well with similarities in display, chipsets, and batteries. It is worth mentioning that Redmi Pad Pro was launched last month in China.

The POCO Pad features a 12.1-inch 120Hz LCD display with 2.5K resolution and up to 600 nits of peak brightness. The display comes with features such as Dolby Vision, adaptive reading mode, TUV Rheinland flicker-free certification, and low blue light certification. The POCO Pad is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset featuring Adreno 710 GPU. It will have up to 8GB RAM and internal storage of up to bed-expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

The POCO Pad is no different, as it too gets 8MP cameras on the back and front, similar to the Redmi Pad Pro. Power is provided by a 10,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The other features of the POCO Pad include a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 6, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, a gyroscope, a Color temperature sensor, and an Ambient light sensor to name a few
