Poco M7 5G Launched in India With 120Hz Display at ₹9,999

Poco launched the M7 5G in India on Monday, featuring a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, an IP52-rated design for dust and splash resistance, and a 5,160mAh battery. It features a dual rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel front camera. It is said to have the biggest display in its segment, as well as being signaled to have triple TUV Rheinland certifications. It joins the Poco M7 Pro 5G, which debuted in December 2024.

The Poco M7 5G is priced at ₹9,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model, while the 8GB variant costs ₹10,999. These promotional prices are valid only on March 7, the first day of sale. The phone will be available via Flipkart from 12 PM and comes in Mint Green, Ocean Blue, and Satin Black color options.

It features a 6.88-inch HD+ (720 x 1,640 pixels) display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 600 nits of peak brightness. It is also TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, and Circadian certified. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor along with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It unleashes the power of Android 14-based HyperOS.

For optics, the Poco M7 5G is armed with a dual rear system with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 primary sensor and an unnamed secondary sensor. Selfies and video calls are covered by an 8-megapixel front camera. Both can record 1080p video at 30 frames per second as well.

The handset is equipped with a 5,160mAh battery with 18W wired charging support, although Poco ships a 33W charger in the box. Connectivity features of the device include 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For security, it comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It measures 171.88 x 77.8 x 8.22mm and weighs 205.39g.
