POCO M7 5G debuted in India last week as the successor to the POCO M6 and a more affordable alternative to the POCO M7 Pro. Now, the company has launched the POCO M7 5G Airtel exclusive edition as a result of its association with Airtel to improve affordable 5G smartphone availability. The collaboration already resulted in the launch of the POCO C61 Airtel edition back in July 2024.

Pricing and Availability The POCO M7 5G Airtel edition retails in India for ₹9,249 with applicable offers. Starting March 13 at 12 PM IST, the phone will be available for purchase through Flipkart.

The promotional material also lists design options for the device consisting of Mint Green, Satin Black, and Ocean Blue color options. For context, the original POCO M7 5G was announced starting at ₹10,499 for the base variant and ₹11,499 for the 8GB/128GB variant. This special edition, as the name implies, will be locked to the Airtel network.

The POCO M7 5G comes equipped with a 6.88-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 1,640 x 720 pixel resolution. It also provides HDR mode for 600 nits bright. Powering the smartphone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, coupled with an Adreno GPU. Moving on to the optics, the device features a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary sensor along with a 2MP secondary lens.

For selfies and video calls, it has an 8MP camera on the front. It packs a 5,160mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The POCO M7 5G ships with Android 14-based HyperOS out of the box, and POCO has committed to providing two years of OS updates. The smartphone is available in two storage configurations: 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB. Connectivity options include support for 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
