While we are waiting for the upcoming flagship from POCO, we came to know about a new smartphone alleged to be POCO M2 Pro. This phone is said to be a mid-range device that will feature Snapdragon 720G SoC. Reports claim that the name of the smartphone appeared io Xiaomi’s official website but now it has been taken down. The data showed a result of its SAR testing.
The model number of the phone is spotted as M2003J6CI and code named as “gram”. Though the retail name is not fixed yet but the model number hints to an extent. According to GSMArena “there’s a firmware ready for the “gram” and has also appeared in a kernel source code for the Redmi Note 9 Pro and a watermark in the default camera app for the “gram” has also been found”.
Reports also claim that Xiaomi is working on the POCO M2 Pro may be related to the Redmi Note 9 Pro. Both may also shame most of the features which means that the phone will feature Snapdragon 720G or may come with similar SoC with compatible software.
POCO is organising a global launch event on May 12 where the company will launch the upcoming flagship of the brand and may also launch this mid-range device at the same time.
