POCO has officially confirmed the global launch of the POCO F7 series on March 27 at an event in Singapore, scheduled for 8:00 GMT. The teaser image suggests that the POCO F7 Pro and POCO F7 Ultra may be unveiled in the series alongside the “Ultrapower Unleashed” tagline. This would be the first “Ultra” model in POCO history.

The rumor around the POCO F7 Pro is that it’ll be a rebadged Redmi K80, with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC inside, but a smaller 6,000mAh battery compared to the original 6,550mAh. As for the POCO F7 Ultra, it’s said to be a Redmi K80 Pro rebrand with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor along with a 5,300mAh battery rather than the 6,000mAh from the K80 Pro. Both will offer fast charging as well, the F7 Pro with 90W wired charging and the F7 Ultra offering 120W wired + 50W wireless charging.
We will be getting a 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED flat panel with a peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits and a dynamic refresh rate of 120Hz on both phones. The F7 Pro will likely feature a 50MP 1/1.55″ Light Fusion 800 sensor with OIS, as well as Xiaomi AISP 2.0, a 32MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 2.5x telephoto lens with a 10cm macro capability.
