POCO F5 Indian, F5 Pro global models teased

The POCO F5 series is anticipated to go on sale in all countries later this month or in May. Even though the POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro will both be available, only the former is anticipated to reach India. This will be the popular POCO F4 from last year’s replacement. The POCO F5 Indian and POCO F5 Pro Global models have now started appearing on Geekbench.

According to the results of a survey among his fans, only the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB storage variants of the new POCO phone would be available at launch. The Indian POCO F5 model has been seen on Geekbench. In the single-core round, the phone managed to achieve 1118 points, while in the multi-core round, it managed to get 4236 points, according to the listing.

On Geekbench, a POCO F5 Pro Global variant has been discovered. The phone scored 1302 points in the single-core round and 4080 points in the multi-core category. According to the description, the phone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor with a maximum clock speed of 3.0GHz and 12GB of RAM. The POCO F5 Pro will probably come pre-installed with Android 13.

The POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro are going to have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a punch-hole cutout. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 SoC will power the regular POCO F5, while the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset may power the POCO F5 Pro. The SoC will be used in conjunction with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Both phones are believed to ship with the MIUI 14 custom skin based on Android 13.

The POCO F5 and F5 Pro will have a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro triple camera sensor. A 16MP camera and in-display fingerprint sensor can be found on the front. The POCO F5 will have a battery capacity of 5,000mAh, while the POCO F5 Pro will have a battery capacity of 5,500mAh. Both models, however, are likely to support 67W rapid charging.
