Finally, Poco has launched its brand new budget smartphone in the Indian market, named the Poco C3. According to the company, this phone is the “Game Changer”. So without wasting any let’s go to the specification part of the newly launched Poco C3 and verify if it’s really the no. 1 quality smartphone brand in India.
The Poco C3 runs the latest MIUI 12 which is based on the Android 10 OS and is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC chipset. Regarding the display, this phone offers a 6.53-inch HD+ display with a 20:9 Tall Aspect Ratio and improved Dark mode. Poco has not confirmed anything about the fingerprint sensor of this phone, maybe it is not there. This phone is available in three different color variants: Arctic Blue, Lime Green, and Matte Black.
The MediaTek Helio G35 SoC is paired with two different RAM/storage variants: 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. The RAM type is LPDDR4X. The storage is further expandable up to 512GB via an external microSD card as this phone features a dedicated 3 card slot.
In terms of camera, the Poco C3 features a square-shaped symmetrical triple rear camera setup on its back which includes a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. For the selfies, this phone offers a notched 5MP selfie snapper at the front, inside the water-drop notch.
Regarding the battery, this phone is fueled by a massive 5,000mAH battery. It is not just a bigger battery but a “Better Battery 2.0”, with Poco C3 you get a battery that needs less charging and has a longer lifespan than others. Apart from it, this phone has every other connectivity options, like a 3.5mm audio jack, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB port for charging.
Coming to the pricing of this phone, the Poco C3 3GB/32GB variant carries a price tag of Rs. 7,499 and the 4GB/64GB variant carries a price tag of Rs. 8,999 in the Indian market (*introductory price*). Below 10,000 INR budget, this is quite a pocket-friendly and decent smartphone. The first sale will start off the Poco C3 on October 16 via Flipkart.
