The brand-new collection of no-cost monthly video games that will be accessible in October 2022 has been formally introduced by PlayStation. All PlayStation Plus subscribers across the various tiers (PlayStation Plus Essential, PlayStation Plus Extra, and PlayStation Plus Premium) will be able to grab Hot Wheels Unleashed, Injustice 2, and Superhot starting on October 4th.
There are a few restrictions, like with most free PlayStation Plus games. For instance, these are only available for free to subscribers for a certain period of time. Through October 31st, the new October 2022 titles will be accessible. They’re not all for the same platforms, either. While Hot Wheels Unleashed is for both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, Injustice 2 and Superhot are solely available for the PlayStation 4.

The free PlayStation Plus video games for October 2022 are Injustice 2, Superhot, and Hot Wheels Unleashed.
Starting on October 4 and continuing through October 31 all three will be available for claim. While the other two are only available for the PlayStation 4, Hot Wheels Unleashed is compatible with both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
Granblue Fantasy: Versus for the PlayStation 4, Need for Speed Heat for the PlayStation 4, and Toem for the PlayStation 5 are currently accessible and will remain so through October 3rd as free PlayStation Plus games for September 2022. All of the aforementioned games are additionally accessible across all PlayStation Plus tiers, including PlayStation Plus Essential, PlayStation Plus Extra, and PlayStation Plus Premium.
