## Should You Watch?

Critics have been divided. [The Guardian gave it 2 stars](https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2025/aug/14/playing-gracie-darling-tv-series-review-paramount-plus), calling it “well-acted but antiquated,” though they praised O’Reilly’s performance. However, mystery lovers who enjoy slow-burn narratives with supernatural twists might find this right up their alley—especially if you loved shows like *The Sinner* or *Mare of Easttown*.

With only six episodes, it’s perfect for a weekend binge. The atmospheric cinematography of New South Wales adds an eerie backdrop to this psychological puzzle.
