Pippa OTT Release Date
Ishaan Khattar and Mrunal Thakur have collaborated on a brand new film Pippa. This film will not be released in theatres as it will be released on the OTT platform. The long-awaited film, ‘Pippa,’ features Ishaan Khatter and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. This is quite surprising to decide to skip its theatrical release and premiere directly on an OTT platform. The story of the film was inspired by the book named ‘The Burning Chaffees by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta’.
This film will represent the bravery of Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta in the Indo-Pakistan war. The war happened in the 45th Cavalry Tank Squadron. AR Rahman will take care of the musical part. Till yesterday, we have just only update that the film will be released on OTT platforms. Today, the makers have confirmed that the film will stream on Amazon Prime Video.
Pippa: Plot
The story of the film will really touch the core of your heart. This is definitely one of the incredible patriotic films in which we will see how Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta leads from the front at the 45th Cavalry Tank Squadron. He fought on the eastern front in the Indo-Pakistan along with his siblings. The feelings of patriotism going to be very high as the youngsters from the family came forward in the crisis of the motherland.
The new trailer kicks off with a terrible war-like situation. At the beginning we have seen one green Cargill tank, moving forward slowly. There is a dialogue that represents India’s tremendous power of army as prime minister Indira Gandhi stated if someone reveals wanton and aggression on us, we will give a strong response to them. Ishaan Khattar is playing the lead role of Brigadier Balram Singh.
This is the first time Ishaan Khattar appears in the role of a freedom fighter. The trailer showcases the true feelings of the freedom fighter, at that time the Indian citizens have no idea that the history of Bangladesh would be scripted by some Indian soldier.
The former and belated Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declared direct war against Pakistan with the blood-warming slogan, ‘jai Hind’. The nickname of Blaram Singh was Balli. Among all of this, a cold war starts between Balram Singh and his brother. Mrunal Thakur is playing the female lead and she is asking the question to Balli, ‘What are you doing now?’ that thing starts to trigger a push in Balli’s mind.
There are eighty thousand Pakistan troops stationed at that place. The army started to think to get some local support from the Mukti Bahini. As per their wish, the Mukti Bahini engaged in this battle. The Indian army came to know that Pakistani troops would enter East Bengal via the Bay of Bengal. They are moving swiftly. Mrunal Thakur extracted the reason why Pakistan distracting us with trivial skirmishes to reach Dacca before the Indian army.
At that time, the main challenge came when it came to cross international borders first time for the Indian army. Balram Singh finds out a way to cross the Bay of Bengal by using Pippa. With this Pippa, the entire army is moving under the water. The army is not fighting to defeat Pakistan but to liberate 60 million people from East Pakistan. After this, the terrible war started, and the trailer ended with the slogan, ‘Veer Bhogya Vasundhaea!’.
The producer is said to have garnered the profits along with the nontheatrical business itself. It is definitely a good decision by the makers as of now all theatrical releases are not working. We will say that the makers made the right decision on Pippa.
