The six nominees for the 2024 PFA Young Player of the Year have been revealed. The winner will be announced at a ceremony on August 20. Manchester United have two players up for contention, with Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo both nominated after their remarkable seasons.
The 2023 winner of the award, Bukayo Saka, has also been nominated again after his influential performance in 23-24. Check out the full list of nominees below.

The nominees for the award this year are as follows:
- Cole Palmer – Chelsea
- Joao Pedro – Brighton
- Michael Olise – Crystal Palace
- Bukayo Saka – Arsenal
- Alejandro Garnacho – Manchester United
- Kobbie Mainoo – Manchester United
Cole Palmer might be the favourite to win the award given the impact he has had since his transfer to Chelsea from Manchester City. The 22-year-old scored 22 goals and provided 11 assists in his first full season with the West Londoners, helping them qualify for the Europa Conference League.
Pedro, on the other hand, scored nine goals and provided three assists in his first season with Brighton. Olise scored 10 goals and provided six assists for Crystal Palace last season before earning a big-money move to Bayern Munich this summer.
However, it is a close call nonetheless, and we will find out the winner of the award in just a week.
