Konami has already announced that they won’t be releasing a new Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) game this year. PES will be releasing a season update as PES 2021 on 15th September.

The Coronavirus pandemic is one of the main reasons why Konami couldn’t release a full new game this year. They have decided to give a season update as PES 2021 and has already started working on PES 2022, which they claim to be a game-changer as they will be switching to Unreal engine from Fox engine.

However, Konami has brought the highly anticipated update to the PES 2020 mobile. They have now announced that PES 2021 mobile update will be coming on late October.

The official statement read: “The wait is almost over! The next season of PES Mobile begins this October with the update to PES 2021.”

“Featuring player and team data from the latest season, PES 2021 offers sharp and responsive mobile football gameplay based on the console experience lauded as E3 2019’s ‘Best Sports Game'”.
